Default How to tell what ecu you have? Pic added

Sounds silly, but keep reading threads, saying you need a L8 , P8 ecu ecu, but how do you tell what one you have?

where does it say on the ecu?


Wondering what my 90 plate 4x4 sapphire has?

Should be L8

You can tell by the part number, or just by looking if you know what your looking at

Red or green labelled with L8 on it mate... Or simply take a pic and post and someone will identify it you straight away... But in the year of your car and 4x4 should be L8.. From factory.

Im sure it says L8 thats if it is one on the circuit board inside the ecu.

It says it on the outside on the green or red info sticker
