Is this what you want? Or this only covering the CVH series?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-ESCOR...item4d0315bae2

Ye looking again I think this is only for the CVH, will keep looking then.

thats prob a cvh only item. decent n/a manifolds for the old escorts are getting harder to find. its either sportex (shite) or ashley (unsociably loud shite). Janspeed can still be ordered through MSW but min qty of 5 why would i need 5? can even resell for profit because you're buying at a retail price

TBH I think your at a loss here, put your money elsewhere (maybe a fast road cam?). Probably not the news you want I know but thats how it is some times.

i would imagine you will gain between 1 and 3bhp ... if that!
It doesnt have a Cat in the manifold like some cars and its so low flow (really) that the manifold isnt particularly restrictive. Save money would be my advice mate.

well the idea is to keep it a 1300 pushrod but have upwards of about 85 horsepower,
are there any 1600 pushrod engine that go straight in.
i have a 1300 ohv kent 711m engine with a crank pickup and electronic ignition and dont really want to go over to points system
any ideas???
cheers guys

You mean 771m? 711m is a 1600 xflow block. The ohv was at the end of its life by the time it got to fwd. not a lot of options. The 1600 from an xr2 will go in, can use an electronic distributor, no points

Fiesta has a 771m block. 711 is rwd. 771m for 1300 and 1600. Yes the escort is a Valencia/ohv but a proper crossflow will go in. Nothing will be the same, but it'll mount up. Easiest thing to do is fit a cvh, plenty of mounts, engines and ancillaries available 2nd hand
