Just bought this today and was wondering if anyone knows the history. It ran with reg GIL 1064 with a guy called John Gill. I dont know who had it before him. I believe its a 909 shell possibly ex works??? It now has reg plate K717 FRM but dont know if its the original plate.

cheers. it needs a better box and brakes on it as they are back to standard and a wee tidy up here and there, but yes im very pleased with it

Hi, i take it that its on a MSA logbook? Are there any other registered keepers on it, when and where was it first logbooked, these are clues, then you can start digging like i did when i got my shell, i have traced history back to 1997 on my old thing!

well, this john gill had it and i think he got it in 1998 as ive found he had a sierra before that, wether it was built in 1998 i dont know but it had a small long plate on rather than the normal chassis plate. it also had 2 vents in the roof and the cage and dash look like works ones. il have a look at the msa logbook tomorrow but it was given a new one last year. not sure how many keepers its had till i get the new v5 back. and cheers il let you know oooh and also it says escort rs 2000 on the v5.......

Hi, started a dig about, think it was brian/bryan Gill that started using the car, check car 50 on the attatchment!! Car was run by MSR Motorsport, more clues!!
