Default adjustable top mount question.

hi. i will soon be putting BC coilovers on my focus st170 that have adjustable top mounts. but the adjustable allens will be hidden when fitted.

so could i cut slots in the top suspension mount to give access and avoid removal to adjust???

i will be getting a full corner weighting and setup but dont fancy dropping suspension to make changes.

heres a pic of what i got and thanks if you can advise me please.

I will put some better pics up, we did make a Ali ring for it to sit on, as the top of the tower is a strange shape.

I would still try and get a plate in there if poss, but as you will find out the twin sheet system they used on the tower is tough as balls

Put a few more on the last page of thread for you to look at, but bear in mind that ours had diff mounting holes to your so should be easier for you.

thanks i appreciate your help. is the steel that thick on top of tower or have you added to it underneath?

EDIT just checked your thread and you answered my question. did you weld it in or just allow the bolts to hold it?
