I used to just press pause when i got bored on gt3 endurance races!
Sometimes leave it for days on end before being bothered to finish the races lol
Some good cars were won though (and alot of cash), so im looking forward to getting on with those races personally! Only got 1% to go before i can start

Yea, just B spec some of the endurance, get a good enough car that will be quick enough set it to medium pace so it dont spin off and go out for an hour or so

anyone got a vanquish?
just bought it to do the british GT championship, in hindsight i wanted to buy a TVR, but bought this , just shy of 700bhp.
handles a bit like a boat tho lol, understeers until u get revvin, then it goes sideways but its so composed when side on, really hard to loose it, brilliant car

Im trying to do the last wet race in special conditions but its so fuckin hard. I flopped hard in my tuned up skyline it just couldnt touch the thing i was racing. So i went through the DTM again to get the gtr merc then wacked a turbo onit for over 1000bhp and ill give that a go . But i reckon with a turbo its gonna have no traction so mightg be better off withoout it, plus its the stg4 turbo so its gonna be laggy out of the corners i dont usually put over a stg2 turbo on uless stg5 is availble but ive only seen that for the skyline.
Oh yea and does anyone know why some cars can be turbod and na tuned?? I take it you can only do one and not both??

How do you get the nitrous to work. What I assume is the bottle capacity appears on the dash display but doesn't move during a race. I've pressed all the buttons during a race and nothing happens

I went to play the game the other night and the game wouldn't load because the memory card has broke data what a fooking b***ard 63% completed aswell
i am fooking gutted psml all those fooking hours gone to waste , i only had 3 x 24 hours races left in the Endurance hall, i would have done that in "B spec mode"
so rather than do it all over again on the jap version ,i have bought the english PAL version
so i might aswell start again on the english version

Got the superlicense yesterday....it wasn't that difficult until the last 2 tests (Le Mans and the Nordschliefe)
Got the McLaren F1, but it doesn't seem that spectacular.
I ended up doing the money making Capri rally something like 15 times to get enough $$$ to get the Courage C60 and that made the GT World Championship at least a contest (I was getting killed in my 350Z LM)

well fukk me, i have just read all 10 pages since i got back to work after lunch
only took 2 1/2 hours while trying to look like i wa working and clicking off the screen everytime someone walked past
ill get the ps2 from mums 2nite and play GT4 that i bought last night

well, i played it last night from 8 till 2am
had a mate round too, cool game.
my little tip is, i done the b license, then with the 1.4 lupo you win, get the noz on it, and wack it up to 100 shot, and do the sunday cup races, just about quick enough to win em all, and you can use the noz pretty much all the time.
first race i won was a 123 pointer
i then bought an evo 4 and its 300 odd bhp, cant remember cos i was tired and pissed
oh, and i was over an hour late for work today too cos i forgot to set my alarm.....
also, when you all say to turn off the driver aids, i done that and fook me, its a bit of a handfull to control.
do you lot use them on a little bit at all?

I won a few 260odd point races the other day.
TBH i dont really understand how they work out the points as ive had 7point races that were much harder than 150point ones!
45% of the game complete i think, got the Calsonic R32GTR Touring Car, 850bhp when modded, even did a 9hr endurance race
Well, did the first and last 30mins or so, the rest was in B-spec mode, i won by 47laps
Not played it much last week or so, as its getting to the "frustratingly hard" stage and fucking me off

i left my ps2 on for 48 hours whilst doing endurance races, switching between a spec and b spec modes. woke up the following morning to a smell of burnt electronics. turned it on and i got nothing, changed the fuse and it powered up but i still got no audio or visual.
i had only bought it 3 days before
just my luck, the shop had sold over 200 hundred slimline playstations since their release, and mine was the only one to go bang

Although I agree about the Xbox loading times, I have to say I hate the controller, the sony one is fantastic imo.
As for the burnt out slimline daz, I've heard of that happening quick a few times with the slimlines.

nailed on a stg 4 tubby, 100 shot of noz and its now 500 odd bhp, super soft tyres, and foook me its fast!
set all the suspension fookin solid and it does a 9.062 1/4 mile!!!!
and flat out at 228mph.

B-Spec mode should be called "Easy endurance race, so let the computer do it while i go to sleep and il do the first and last few laps"
Set it to overtake, set the pace to whatevers needed, and leave the computer to do the rest, inc pit in etc.
I wouldnt trust it on any race you couldnt easy win, but its a way of not having to do all of a goddamn boring gay 9hr endurance race.
Wont get any A-spec points unless you raced the whole lot yourself, but youl still be classed as completing it.

lol, yeah, I know what you mean, especially on tracks you've done shit loads of times before, even on old GT games !! Tempted to get a few mates together though for the 24hr ring race. Do staggered GT/drinking/sleeping!

Ive been using the Chapperal 2J, but only done 1st race so far, won it, but not easy.
Did the 9hr endurance race, only 1 ive done, in the CLK GTR, I did about 20-30 laps (10-15 at start n end), computer did rest, won by 47laps, computer takes it too easy tho, soo dont overtake when it could, idve won by about 100 i reckon on my own
