it seems quite similar to how i had it but i adjusted the camber alot more (about twice what you suggested) and also didn't have the spoiler on. do the spoilers actually make a difference? i haven't used them as i think they look shit but if they help out i'll throw one on. using sports tyres too, so will get slicks on it. i also don't have an adjustable gearbox and diffs - will they make a difference over what it has as std if its best to leave them on std settings?
i was finding that i was just getting loads of oversteer with it on my settings, and it was very snappy too - think my settings were a bit OTT.

Honestly i dont think the CarbonR is worth the cash either really (Its shockinglyy poo on the 1/4mile, tho really good on track, but still not worth the cash IMO)
Yea, double what i put is crazy camber for the game i think, makes it well fookin twitchy and makes striaght line traction fookin terrible.
Spoilers make a BIG difference as can then increase front n rear downforce, tho looks proper gay, i fit them to a lot of cars im not happy with the std handling of.
Diff n Box i left at std settings, but thats NOT standard compared to the diff n box the car comes with, its much better
Biggest difference a single part on the game makes tho is Tyres, decent set of slicks transforms a car, its quite funny when you got slicks on a car with soft high suspension, the cars nearly on its door handles and it still gripping
To be honest i dont think you ever really need to buy new cars, the s/h section and ones you win are all you need to do the game really, and maybe the Chapperal 2J

Cheers. Im way behind you lot. only on 4% been doing all the licences too, got all bar the specials. Just won that 740BHP cad cein or whatever, pretty quick really, do well in the MR races

if u want a good race, well i thought it was (although only 7 points )
special conditions,normal, first one, , umbria rally, first ones a starion rally car, 2nd one is an evo 5 TME, i did it in a 550brake evo 8 MR, was damn good fun and hard to keep up at times, probably the best track on there, and old verses new on the second one is amazing

Ive won Merc 190 EVO2 DTM car and its foookin ace Best brakes ive ever known on the game, and prob one of the sweetest handling too
Won a CLK DTM car too but not used it yet.
Late last nite i also decided to buy the Caterham and tune the tits off it.
THEN realised you CANT use it in any races
It wont let you Whats the point of that?
So i tried it on a few tracks as practice and realised its foooooookin SHIT anyhow

got a yellow one, spunked a load on it, went to use it, couldnt use it in antyhing, went out on track in it and it just spins and is completley uncontrolable

Yea, once i did it, i thought "FUCK! I remember reading about it now" lol
Even with total mods and a good setup its utter wank, its not that quick, it dont handle, it feels really floaty n crap like its riding on air
Honestly got probably 1/16th round a lap of the ring and gave up, its fucking shiiiiiiite
I reckon i could take my 2CV or 1bhp Damiler Motor Carridge round a track faster than that wank

bah, no chance, stayed in front of him for about half a lap then he caught me on the twisties n started shoving me, i went a bit wide and he was gone

So what cars are best then?? Fed up of doin the capri rally, sellin the car n spunkin it on summat I think'll be good but then turns out shite when you give it full mods. Ford gt turned out ok, 800bhp but a bit ropey on tight bends. 280 mph tho!
Just got the astra touring car and thats by far the best I've used yet.

Done a 6.33 in astra touring car on arcade on the ring, with an off or 2 aswell!!!!!!! hard car to control. went from 7.33-7.10-.6.33 in various cars, cusco imprezza is a good one too for the ring!
wtf is the silver car with the flaps on the back at the top, go up an down both up when braking, left up for left hand corner, right fla up for right hand corner, weird as fook!?? was on an arcade race!

Apart from the Caterham ive yet to buy a car i thought would be good and turned out shit.
Its a game thats realistic enough that if you know about cars youd realise whats gonna be good n whats not.
Won the CLK GTR, modded that to over 1000bhp, dont like it that much tho!
My 200bhp 400kg Ginetta is my fave at mo It drifts sooo well
Carbon R34 is awesome on the track but wears out tyres soooo quick.
To be honest id not bother buying any fancy cars, most the best ones you cant buy anyhow, have to win em.
For cars to BUY, id NEVER get a new one really unless totally minted, stick to the second hand ones, Scoobys n EVOs are enough to piss on most stuff, just buy early ones and spunk the rest on mods.
Buy Scoobies etc to win the good cars, and use the cars you win to win even better ones.

Anyone understand what the game means by "unmodified cars only" as i fookin dont
In LOADS of unmodified car races ive raced with modded cars and no bother, but in Supercar Festival all cars i tried it wont let in cause they modified, EXCEPT the 22B.
Ive got to a race now (last one, 6laps of Infinion Raceway) where i just cant win with the 22B, but every other car, inc my Cadilac Cien (which im usually against in these supercar things) it says i cant enter cause they modded?
So whats the rules?

it miffed me a bit that exact race too, especially as it wouldnt let me use my Caddy CIEN totally unmodded even though there was another one in the same race bizarre ended up using an Aston Martin v8 vantage in ghaaaay orange that i bought 2nd hand,, kicked arse

got close to 100 cars now, keep buying any "different" secondhand car i can find. got some right classics now

Well, I finally gave in and bought the damn game last night. Had a quick blast and got my B license (forgot how annoying they are!! ) but too late I realised the autosave function was on and now I'm stuck with no money and a crappy FTO which is slower even than other cars in the Sunday cup 
Any ideas how I can make some money quick so I can stick a turbo on it and make some cash?

AAArrrrrrggghhhh. the sound on my playstation is fucked. THe wife played some dodgy dvd's on it and now it just hisses Pictures OK but you've got to make your own tyre sound effects

got a pagani zonda last night, found out its not as good as you'd think for 600k
best so far is a RUF 911, easy tweak to 700bhp and you can win the german series with it, you can then win a nice evo190 touring car, use that to win the final german series and you win the proper v8 merc touring car worth 750k or so
done a 6min 39s lap of the ring with it, best handling car so far. the german race series are quite good as some quick cars in it and you have to win a race on the Nurburgring to take the series.

I'm finding the gran turismo championship? (bottom of prof hall) a bastard as i can't seem to win a real race car to use any ideas?
