which discs are you planning on running?
i managed to get a full frs setup behind rota competition 16" wheels on my xr2, they are quite spacious wheels on the inside, can't see many out thee being able to accommodative frs brakes under a 17 to be honest.
i had to trim quite a bit from the calliper and leave one mm of space from disk to internal calliper to fit them. it could be a lot of work, unless you turn the disc down 5mm or so.

they are indeed 324mm, you will be lucky to get them behind 16's, i struggled and had to shine the callipers somewhat with tools. i ended up with less than a mm between callipers and wheel/wheel weights. with the previously mentioned alloys, most do it ok with 17's, just gives 12.7mm more room to play with, dependant on inner diameter.
