Default Fuel filler flap

Hi all could anybody tell me if there should be a lock on the fuel filler flap on mondeo mk 4

normally if a fuel filler flap can be opened without a release button or lever then it should have a locking cap, but if only way of opening is lever/button worked then no

There is no locking cap according to hand book the nozel of filling pump opens the filler pipe but there is no sign of lock on flap this seems very strange

Most modern ford's have it working with the central locking. Lock the car and the flap shouldn't open.

Tried rickys answer but ther is no visible sign of locning mechinisem

Some of the new ones dont have any thing. They have a thing in the filler neck to stop fuel being drained . All the new style focus's have the same system
