A few of the saph boys have done this, getting the head lining out and recovering it with black material, the problem is the sunroof visor thingy, no saph every came with black head lining so on the visor its a matter of painting it black, does make the interior very dark though especially if you've got raven leather

I recently done mine but kept it grey

Any photos Charlie?

And what did you do, ie, remove the headlining completely, peal off the material and spray glue then recover?

Photos below bruv I took the head lining out complete and gave it to a local trimmer to re-cover the visor in my car was absolutely hanging so I sourced another clean one and fitted that

Day I picked it up

Was a bit fiddly stripped out the rear seats complete and slide it out the boot, done the reverse when I re-fitted it

I did mines a good few years ago now. Still looks well.
Used fabric and paint and did all the trims etc etc.
It does darken the interior compared to before, but I am ok with that.

Yeah i did it myself, just took the old one out but you have to strip it of the old foam stuff.

Then you are ready to glue down the new stuff, i went for a lining thats not fury like the last one.

This is with glue on

Its all from eBay, i used some spray glue that really does stick well!

Also i cleaned my plastics

Then just sprayed them black

Really bad pictures but you get the idea!

I think this was the stuff but not from that seller,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3M-Headlin...item3ef997b765

I gave the plastics all a good clean then just went straight for the black.

As for paint i believe it was good old halfords own brand i used, it has peeled a little on the handles up top as they have a flap for the screw and moving that has made the paint crack but just a fine brush you can over come this once on. The same paint was used on the sun roof as you cant re-trim it so i just sprayed it but that then goes hard as the paint acts like hair spray.
