Default Running greys with standard engine?

it is a good idea or not. With a good condition engine, 500 i/c and t34/0.63 turbo?

yes it would have the right gasket, could you expect to get near 400bhp?

Mine is a good 360-370 BHP

You wont get the 400 figure without Headwork tbh

Mine is going on Thor Racing Dyno-Pak soon for a run so will let you know what it is. But at the end of the day on the road it is fucking superb

(will do the clock in no time at all )

Maybe with cams, a bit of porting/polishing, 400 could be possible? Still with standard bottom end

Both our track cars are "standard" engines with greys peaking at 33 and holding 30psi
Compared to stage 3 they are STUNNING, 60-90 mph is unbelievable

I'm probably going to go this route in the Mk1 Escort if/when it gets finished. Seems the best idea to me for a nippy fast road/track car

TIFF-C20WTH, did you get ti live mapped or did norrismotorsport do you an off the shelf chip. I am just working out how much extra it will cost for greys over a stage3 setup on greens

Mine is going straight to Karl for this conversion, as soon as it runs, as I've heard nothing but good things about it.

alps colins are the only company i know that do off the shelf chips, its not recemended though tbh as the fueling on greys and the CO level is usually very high on idle

I had it Mapped by Karl

Not many places will do an "Off the shelf" Chip for a grey injector car

But have a word with him and see what he will charge you for the Greys set-up, it is WELL worth it

tiff collins performance are the only ones i know but ya still gotta have it set up too, so when ya think of the 150 quid price, then set up for it, maybe the mony for a live map is better as ya will save money on fuel too

mine is the same as tiffs except its a 200 block and low compression.
NMS chip running same boost. (except he has a `special not for public use` )

mid range acceleration is great

Seems like a good conversion, and prob what i would have done if engine didnt need rebuild lol so went for the full gabodale while had new one built. And if its close to 400bhp then its way better than stage 3

don't forget to change your fuel pump as a std one will be topping out at 380 -390hp

i dont think that is right a standard pump in good condition will flow about 3.9 litres a minute and grey injectors will only flow about 2 litres a minute so why do you need a bigger pump??
