The std has a flow rate of between 130 and 220lt per hr...depending on voltage and state of pump!!!!!...People say the std is good for 380bhp...Karl reckons even more...BUT you are risking your engine...BEWARE always get it properly setup if higher than std power to make sure pump is in optimum condition and wiring is sound...better still buy a new one!

The GRP A is a different cookie as its minimum flow rate is 200lt/hr which is a very safe pump from 300bhp to 550bhp.

ImaRacing 700,
depending on voltage and state of pump!!!!!...
Depending on fuel rail pressure and current available is what Phil is trying to say

Like the walbro 500bhp EscCos fuel pump, it will only supply 500bhp of fuel on a large turbo equipped Supra, nothing else

cheers guys

The reason im asking is that ive been offered a Bosch fuel pump (part number 580 254 910 506 082-2) and was wondering how it compares to a cossie one (which i was intentionally going to buy.

The engine i want to use it with is:

1650 CVH
Cossie T3 turbo with larger exhaust housing
Fully balanced and blueprinted
Blydenstein gas-flowed cylinder head with silicon valve stems
Low compression pistons (7.0:1 CR)
Escort Cossie Group A K&N Filter
Spec-R oil breather system
Ahmed Bayjoo Phase2 conversion
Uprated wastegate actuator
Bosch yellow fuel injectors
Ahmed Bayjoo turbo cam
Custom Pace polished chargecooler system with two cooling radiators and boot mounted two gallon water reservoir
Pace polished alloy radiator

Would the above mentioned pump be suitable??

Thanks
Chris

if you gotta buy one, get one with most flow @ 5 bar, if same price. always better to be safe.

but that 500 figure is surely a potential not a given, ie more than adequte for a stg3 on greens runnign 1.5bar, than the std pump, which i believe runs out of puff at anything over std...?
