Default Swapping a gripper diff for a supra diff

As above is it worth it .does the supra diff lock up as good as the gripper. The gripper diff is great when hooning about but normal driving I hate it jumpy nocking banging etc people saying 'I think ya diff fucked mate' lol
So is it worth the change

I guess it depends how you drive! A supra diff will not brake if your into dumping the clutch every other time you leave the lights lol the problem with a quaife is you can lose drive if one wheel loses grip or contact with the road. Grippers are strong diffs and lock both wheels very well but are a bit clunky but its never really worried me with mine! But the biggest problem with 7.5 inch diffs is you can brake the crown wheel and pinion if you abuse them mine is super finished and shot peened and has lasted well with around 500lb ft but I did bust a standard cwp leaving a roundabout in second lol

The gripper and quaife sorts the biggest problem and that's the supper week standard planet and sun gears the up rated standard diffs still have them so I wouldn't bother if you have any torque!

As a normal road car the quaife is quite a good diff.

As long as it drives nice and isn't notchy like the gripper and can handle 400ftlb... Ill stick a quaife or bara in it.

It takes my 531 ft/lb and I certainly don't give it an easy time.
