Default Exhaust flanges - nylock nuts?

Evening all

Just wondering what nuts / bolts are the best to use for bolting a cat up to a downpipe / mid section.

Would nylock nuts be ok or would the nylon melt? Would I be better with a spring washer?

Cheers

Rich

K nuts mate!

bit like a nyloc, but instead of the nylon bit, the raised section is squashed oval so it grips.
