Yes I know we're all bored of hearing about this car, but I found the read interesting, it was on the front page of pistonheads!

Going by a couple of their comments, I don't think they quite see how strong the colleting market can be

what do pistonheads useres know anyway? They are so far up their own arses they don't know whether to fart or talk!!! Don't think they really realise just how rare or special that car is.

It's still only worth what someone is willing to pay for it and currently it's still for sale, so it's not worth £65k.

He could advertise it at 100k and the whole world could gasp in shock at how much RS500's are worth.

Yes, it's a special car and yes, to certain people its the ultimate fast ford but in a market that will only decrease in size I think I'd be holding onto to it for a few years more, besides if he really wanted to sell it, £62k would have been snapped up (just shy of 5% off the asking price). I would go as far as saying its just clever promotion by the owner.

Cant see the appeal personally, they arent any better to drive than a normal 3 door, but I guess if you buy stuff just cause its rare then so be it, bid away amongst yourselves.

I am just as bored reading about it believe me, I have no idea why Pistonheads have dragged it up when I cancelled the advert on there weeks ago, seems its still showing on that crappy beta version of theres.
