Blue smoke
Hi. im getting blue smoke from the exhaust when i for example pull up and stop at the lights. it doesnt smoke on first start up and doesnt smoke when i put the foot down. any ideas appreciated.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
assuming the breather/pipes are clear id say turbo. could be valve stem seals which is normally a puff of smoke after been off the throttle/pressing the peddle again. esp after travelling downhill. neither are a big issue. stem seals are about a tenner and with the right tool (spring compressor) can be done in about an hour.

Turbo starting to go I would say. My Fiesta RS Turbo did this just after the 195 conversion. Was fine from cold and once properly warm but at that warming stage it would smoke like mad at idle when stopped at lights. Bloody good excuse to put a nice shiny hybrid on it though

im efi converted not that that makes any difference lol. planning an engine rebuild soon it made 164 @ 9psi 2 month ago so not too bad but it doesnt sound 2 healyhy at high revs either got spare block,pistons and head so goin to get started with that asap.
