Default Power Graph

My 3dr with a T3 (Red Line) and the 4i (Green Line) with the old spec TT T38

Well pleased with how the 4i makes low down power (or used too )

Yes the above figure may be real but your 1st figure of 540bhp from the t38 wasnt imo.

Says 456bhp on that graph for the 4i

The 4i made 492bhp @ the hubs on a different dyno and different spec turbo but that has nothing to do with the above graph

Im lost. That graph above is the flywheel figure for the 4i yes? So 400 at the wheels or so im guessing. With which turbo. The 1st of your t38's or the 2nd one?

Your hub dyno figure is 492 at the wheels or hubs whatever with the lesser spec t38.

So yes one of those is completely wrong isnt it lol

You can only beleive one of those power figures as they are 90 bhp at the wheels/hubs apart

Or are you saying now your original hub dyno figure of 492 @ wheels/hubs is not believable?

Hence my comment of a realistic power figure from the 3 door at some point. Not 492 at the wheels on a hub dyno and then 400 at the wheels on a dyno dynamics. They shouldnt vary that much should they?

Nothing to get over. Im just trying to work out which of the power figures at the wheels the 4i ACTUALLY had, rather than 492 on a hub dyno and approx 400 on a DD.

now come on rich you of all people should know with the experience on your own car that a few tweaks and changes here and there
different engine specs and turbo's you will have different power graphs
steve just chose to show them all instead of the latter one
The turbo technics billet wheel mod to the turbo technics man size t38 was an interesting one
even surprised me
will be interesting when we do his new engine and upspec the TT turbo again
we may even loose power from the aldi engine spec

Tony,

yes of course mate. I was just wondering which of the power figures was most accurate and what Steve was hoping for with the 3 door. If you are upping the spec of the T38 then it will be very interesting to see what it does

I've pm'd Steve anyway

stay with the wheel figures and hub figures we never use estimated flywheel BS figures
the later run with the Billet wheel and anti surge housing made the most power
but lost a little torque which was interesting
would liked to have tried it with the non anti surge housing but steve didn't want to pay for any more dyno time as he is as tight as he is tall and ugly
