Default Cracked rear lights MOT failure?

Hi Guys and Gals,

One for the MOT testers this and apologies for it not being a Ford but I bet theres some on here who like these old tanks.

My colleague recently damaged his lights as shown below. They are taped up so no sharp edges or lose bits, work correctly and emit the correct colour. Are they a pass and advise or an out right Fail?

Thanks for your help guys.

Phil

Think its okay on rear lights, providing they emit the right colour and the visibility of the light isn't effected in any way. Will probably get an advisory for it though.

i would say n/s could be a fail as it has clear tape on a red light and if you look at the broken part white light could possibly shine through, if it didnt shine through then pass and advise

As long as correct colour shows to the rear it's just a pass
