It would only be a decent option if it was a very very good spec, and a very very low price.
The Porsche option probably isnt a bad one if you got the right car.

Skyline's are awesome cars, when been built right. my skyline is the best car I ever owned by far. The only thing is buy the wrong car and it will make you cry as it can be a big money pit. I also have an Evo 5 with an 8mr engine and a Evo 9 turbo and it's the nuts for the money. IMO any Evo from 4/9 with the right bits on it, won't be far behind the skyline IMO. The Evo is also a lot cheaper to tune to big hp.

the skyline is a nice car, but as said check it out, and if you do get it dont get the wheels carbon dipped, it looks tackey in real life, your best off having them painted bronze again like they were in the other pics and would cost about £150 to do if that compared to 400 your going to spend on something that doesnt even look like carbon in real life lol

It can be difficult buying a good car locally that you can see, check history etc. You can bet that a lot of what would come direct from Japan would be a bundle of sh.. regardless of what a magazine or advert might claim.
It would only be a decent option if it was a very very good spec, and a very very low price.

I know of a few people that have come up trumps with it, but luck of the draw really.

Would an R35 not be possible if you sold the R32 as well? If it was me, I'd sell off a couple of cars and get the R35. Or are they commanding strong money still?

it would be possible tommorrow without selling anything but i just dont want £40k in a car. an r35 is the end game though but not yet as im not currently prepared to put that much money in a car.

Sound. I kind of got the impression you could buy one anyway, I was just thinking that an R35 would leave the others redundant it'd be that good surely. There is a bloke round here with one who is not shy in using it every time I see it. Sounds incredible. Looks awesome.

Fair point on loosing money.
When they are more like 25 they might be a better option for you? A few simple mods sees 700+... puppy power to your standards though

They are quick cars but to the previous poster who suggested one, the front brake disks are £1000 a pair, so a bargain supercar suddenly gets really expensive, really fast!! when you have to do things like that

ive got a good feeling about this r33.
the guy seems genuine and hes a gtr owners club member.
its a massive travel for him to me but he doesnt mind, and he also doesnt mind it on my ramp, comp test etc, its certainly looking promising, ive spoke to abbey motorsport aswell as they have history of some of the cars mods, also reading through the forum the os giken box was rebuilt, its done 15k miles since then but i get the impression it hasnt had a hard life with its current owner.

Needs a box but cheap @ that price.
£12000 seems to get you a minter though.
