Default Time attack

I have decided I fancy having a go at doing a round at brands next year hopefully engine rebuild going as planned I would appreciate any advice as to what to expect also what class I would be in ?

I'm using slicks but I use kumho ecsta v700 road tires and they are listed as msa 1b tires are these ok or do you have to run them Pirelli tires still ?

Tyres are open now you dont have to run a control tyre as in previous years. Slicks are only ran on the pro cars.

There are no definitions anywhere stating engine modifications so I presume it's open ? Ie no restrictors as I was looking into racing in the qmn but would need to have a 57mm restrictor fitted

No permitted sizes. What ever you can fit under the arches

It's all about trying to get a Clear lap to set the time.

Would be cool to have another cossie in it. What times do you do at brands mate?

My mates have timed me doing 51 - 52 last year when we were on the performance ford trackday in October I have not done it this year :-( but how accurate that is would be anybody's guess lol ???

I wouldn't mind doing a round of Time Attack but I race the 3 Door in a Road Going Class for HillClimbing so i'm not going to put a cage in.

Jesus Christ it's expensive you're looking at Ł600 to do just one event!

Thanks Jay mate. That's the big thing tho. Cash. As You know mate. I'm doing it on a massive budget. Literally I do a few private jobs a month and that pays for it

Been at brands today had a chat with rod birley , rick may and a few other people looks like I'll be entering in the qmn next year I'm propper excited and shitting myself all at the same time lol
