Default Flo-Flex

Anyone using their bushes?

Thinking about buying a set, I know they are cheap but are they better than OEM?

ive heard good and bad things to be honest, you cant beat powerflex but they do come at a premium and sometimes they dont do as many bushes in the kit as other companys. im fairly sure classic ford mag promote floflex (may be superflex tho?) and they tend to actually test parts before they advertise for them so may be worth looking at the classic ford website and seeing what they reccomend mate

Used em twice. They've failed almost instantly twice.

Cheers guys, Just bought powerflex,
Its only for my mk4 golf gti, The lower arm rear bushes are shagged.
the wheel moves back and fourth in the arch and the wishbone hits the subframe.,
They are properly shagged.

I know the bush your on about. And tbh it's a poor design poly replacement as it won't actually work as it should. Did you buy the 30quid solid bush or the 110 rose joint style one.

I'm afraid if you bought the cheap one I wouldn't hold much hope for that either. Makes the ride diabolical. Ran one and removed it for a genuine standard Part

well i'll post the contrary, i have had a few flo-flex fitted and not a single problem.
the rest on mine are powerflex and also no issues.
the moulding process is better for powerflex whereas flo-flex used to freeze poly blocks and lathe them up, may have moved on since the early days though.
as said though, no failures as yet, been a few years too.

Lucky I stumbled across this, I was gonna order front top mounts and rear beam bushes in the morning. Do you think I should or not? Cant argue with the price, but if the quality is shite id rather go for something else

around the show there didn't appear to be any trader bargains, certainly nothing seemed any better than in their shops/webshops.
i thought i'd end up with something, but walked away empty handed.

Ditto that! But it was a good day out!

Ive never had a prob with flo-flex across 2 cars and 7-8years, from when they used to be "de-flex"...
