Help finding an old Cossie - FIL2400 Tahiti Blue Saph Cos 2wd
Can anyone help me find Phill2400's old Saph Cosworth? I helped Phill sell it through here to a guy Rob Jones I think, from Southampton.
It was this car, used on the MSD adverts even now:
Had a pretty damn tidy engine bay - Stage 3'ed
From what I remember back at the time, the 18s and the AP Brakes were put up for sale by the new owner soon after the car sold. The reg FIL2400 Phill has retained. I think the reg it went back on was E106 ***
Anyone know where it is these days or what became of it?
Si

Don't think it's that one. It was never more than 350 bhp, unless the new owner too it to that power level in the last 2 years, then died... and his father then looked after it??
Either way, as it looks in the pics above, that was all done by Phill who is very much alive

I remember this car, going sideways out of a turning in chase of a kit car! Great memory. Car was mint when I last seen this, dont really know Phil, see him at Westlands but not sure he remembers me. I am sure I seen this car for sale in Southampton area a while back, the guy was hard up and couldnt shift it. Wanted around Ł6500 for it but that dropped and sure he ended up keeping it. Had a change of wheels, think it might of been on standard's. I remember they didnt flatter the car much. Does he want this car back now Si?

Possibly, condition and price dependent - plus if we can find it!
And what a great feature it was too! It was all going well with the donuts on the runway, till the airtraffic controller started going mental
Yep, Phill has it on his Hyundai Santa Fe! Would look much better back on a Cossie though
Phill couldn't remember the plate last night, but will ask him to rack his brains some more!
He'd like a Cossie again if funds allow, and he was very attached to that particular car! We went through loads of old meet photos and shows pics last night, thinking back to the good old days of tyre smoke and flamer kits
Last seen on 17" Momo Arrows when I last saw it... not sure what it was on most recently. Southampton was the area IIRC.
I'm not sure, but will try to find out. Speaking to Phill yesterday he thought it was E106 something or other...
It was intended to have a 2.4 motor done, but never happened. The engine was a mild rebuilt 205 block standard motor. The plate lied
