Default Runabout Insurance

Had my Runabout for about 5 years now..and it's been a good car!

got 2 policys (5 years NCB on each )

J reg 1.8 diesal done over 50k miles in it and apart from a few hic-ups been a good car!

got my insurace renewal through this morning

230 quid full comp protected!

was going to lower it to TPFT but the women on the phone says it would only save u £3.50

Fully comp it is then

Had my iccle Fiat nearly two years, insured fully comp @ £280... Bit steep, but its with sod all ncb...
This is with Zurich, who, (after taking 4 months to process a simple claim) i must say are the most useless bunch of wankers ive ever had the missfortune to deal with! Ill never go back with them,or recommend them to anybody, even if they are the cheapest!!

my plan is to keep the s1 when i get cossie in a year as my run around,
put my dad on the s1 on his own classic insurance, about 150 quid,
get fully comp on cossie and drive s1 under that policy,
oh and going to make my dad pay for s1 and let him drive it once, ha

a fully comp policy does not cover you to drive other cars unless you are 25 by default

very few policies allow you to drive other cars if your under 25

I thought this too, had my renewal through for the rs and now gone comp with agreed value, can drive other cars with no limitations on engine size etc (as long as they insured by someone) and it'll be tpf&t cover
