They are just pneumatic push in fittings Tim,

I've been busy with a few different projects for other people, I was at the Severn Valley and the Nicky Grist with Phil Burton



but I've be been helping with a monoposto moto race car,



we were at Oulton at the weekend..

Might give the car a run out at the Prom if I can bring myself to buy some new belts...

I use these in a lot of places ( dump valve, FPR, MAP sensor etc ). But given the heat involved at a wastegate, they certainly wouldnt be my first choice

Ian, some nice equiptment there. If you go to the prom stages ill more then likely see you there. Its one local rally I try to get to every year, despite it being a tad on the boring side. Ive not really been upto much really, just work (Merc dealers in a shirt and tie) and helping Martin Fox when I can on his 1 series BMW rally car. He had his first event in that just over a week ago at Anglesey.

Stevie, I plan on using them to link up each port for vac take offs on an ITB Turbo set up. I tried looking at quip with solid tubing but its just too wide for the aplication. I think this style fitting should be relatively easy, quite cheap and quite effective for what I want.

Anywhere that sells air tools, compressors etc should sell them. Various threads and pipe sizes. the nylon hose is cheap and the fittings are very easy to use.

I used 4mm for MAP sensor etc and 6mm for dump valve.

I think 6mm will be ideal size for me as once all linked together they will be feeding a distribution block on the inlet plenum. This can then go off to MAP, Blow Off and FPR. Wastegate setup due to the heat and being nowhere near the inlet will more then likely be done in -4 quip.
