what oil for 2004 transit rear diff

as above lad's i want to change the rear axle oil do i just use gear oil as normal or do transits use a special oil

i thought a transit on a 2004 was front wheel drive

Hey mate,

all the websites I checked showed up a Hypoid 75W140 GL5 "LS". I dont know why "LS", I guess its only important if you have a limited slip diff. You need 2.6 litres.

i was pretty sure it was ford only ? they sell it in 2.8 litre bottles for about £30 iirc
