Default exhaust temps

what would be the temp range of my exhaust manifold

engine is turbo'd running plenty of boost

looking to get some exhaust paint to smarten it up a bit and just noticed the temp ranges of some of the paints available

also any of you guys suggest any high heat paint for my ex manifold?

i tried mipa on the chevy headers supposedly good for 800c but its not, a few boot fulls and its burning off

i dont think any of the paints are any good, i cant remember the name but get the proper coating done is the only way is it zirconian ?

Iv have used most paints for N/A engine manafolds none have lasted an I think temps go about 600 + an seen turbo's go cherry red to straw white if your an animal with them an can think of no paints that will last that kind of heat.

the manifold has already been coated but needs a small repair / weld

so the ceramic coating will need to be ground back to weld on

so intead of getting the whole manifold done again (its quite big really) was hoping to just paint in

i would leave it bare or get the proper coating done, my chevy is n/a and i regret painting the headers they stink big time complete waste of time and money
