lets see if the price they come back with is extortionate or not

I havent yet, but they are local to me and will be using them as soon as funds permit. I have added a couple of links from Mark's project on FT.com. Pictures speak for themselves.
See what you think. Carry on looking through the thread and you'll see the interior fitted.

I found this place in maidstone, alot closer, the link you posted for aldridge got back to me, they wanted to know if i was sending the interior to them or bringing the car in, i asked for a quote for both options.

have a look at this, this guy does everything lol http://www.tbrowninteriors.co.uk/Uph...Maidstone.html

I took a look at the pics and I have to say the front seats look like they've been retrimmed, they don't look factory and that's what I'd want. Also what was he thinking when he dicided to have them piped? I think double stitching would have looked way nicer. They are local to me too but I'm glad I travelled the 102 miles to have mine done

Here's the piped original I gave my trimmer

This is how it now looks..

Aldridge never got back to me after telling them it was a mk4 Ford Escort so they can go swing for my custom, just wish there was someone closer in kent that i can go to who does bloody good work at a decent price !! ill try the T Brown Upholsters in Maidstone on the weekend, maybe take the car up there for them to look at and get a quote in person, these interiors look so bloody nice lol, mine is in very good nick but defenatley need either revamping or complete custom job done, depending on cost.
