Default Pull up reverse?

Hi all,

How easy is it to remove the pull up reverse? without replacing the whole selector or locking it in place. I need it so it can just put it straight in reverse.

thanks

Ash

If you remove the rest of the gear knob, you might get better access to the lift up bit. There was a thread on here recently about removing the gear knob....

Bugger! Sorry, I thought I recognised the picture from somewhere.... Can't remember seeing a tab or anything, but it was years since I changed my gear knob.

someone must know if and how this can be done? i know the quick shift kit you can get allows you to fit a pull up reverse to a non pull up shifter so you must be able to remove it? surely?
