good to see the video showing the moderate performance difference between the two, as Lee said, it would be interesting to see how that compared to a bone dry track session.
The new engine that me and mike from Mwm built for porkies car has really given it some go, it's surprising how much pace it has really even when compared to my turbo one. And then the fact his is so much better through the bends meant if he wanted to he could have been lapping quite a few seconds quicker than me on the day, he just held back a bit so he could chase me round and film it.
Only place you can see the power difference really is coming out of quarry, he takes the bend quicker than me and is gaining on me then mine manages to undo that speed differential and then start to pull away a bit.

We reckon in the dry over a whole lap once my steering is sorted out there won't be much in it over a lap.
I'm sure we'll be at another day together soon so I will get another video up when we do so

Did sound so boosty. !

On a dry day where they can open it up more I think they will be gettin black flagged for noise, will need to be silenced on the screamer piper or fed back into the main exhaust.

So quick though, was making my turbo Clio look slow when they booted it out of camp.

The one that tried to drift and nearly wiped another mx5 out at the same time get yourself some clear track if you want to put a show on
Did notice after dinner a few people got caught up in the moment of the MK2 drifting but came up well short when they tried.

Noticed a lad in what looked like a base model Fiesta plod round all day at his own pace, stayed out of everyone's way and still had as much fun proper track etiquette.

That was one wet weekend.
First session I struggled and drifted round camp into a spin.

2nd session car was flying though until 4th lap we hit a damp patch and went grass cutting
After that it rained more and I called it a day.

Need some Dunlop wets !!

Video of the Fiesta cosworth I was following.

You can really see its pace coming out of camp corner and quarry, was leaving my 260bhp Clio turbo for dead!

Was slow as hell over a whole lap, but that was blatantly just a combination of taking it steady and the terrible conditions, when its used in anger its going to be utterly mental judging by how well it goes in the couple of places he did give it a bootfull.

EPIC car, I properly love it!

We spotted that Escort too - looked like a combination of great tyres and well set up suspension, it made that white Scooby look daft around Quarry.
