Default Caliper paint

Hi all

What do you guys use for painting your calipers. Was thinking black or silver. For standard brakes on. A 4x4 cossie.

My car getting getting M.O.T'D tomorrow, so while the brakes are getting replaced alround I'll be on the callipers and drum's with some black Hammerite. Always hold's up well for me.

I had mine powdercoated satin black but they came out more gloss but look nice

used hammerite red spray paint on mine the finish was spot on!

I have used hammerite in the past.

The last ones were able to split in half so got them powdercoated as the back half was alum anyway.

How well does the powder coating hold up to the heat? I'd of thought it might have peeled off if I got too hot

Still looks as good as it does in the picture above a year later and approx 20,000 miles

i used regular paint on my brembos, just simoniz primer and then wheel paint, been on a while now and not bubbled.
hammerite would be the next choice though for me.

Gold Hammerite works well & seems to stay on.
