lol! spose everyone is entitled to their opinion, issue 2 is alot better made then issue 1, definatly a massive noticable improvment!
any suggestions on what we could alter/change, we will always welcome feedback whether it be good or bad!

Hey there, Jerry here, Producer of SLTV...I appreciate everyone has their own views and oppinions on everything they watch, everyone's entitled to say what they think..free society n'all
But i believe, as Petrucci from PF told me, the feature is a true reflection of the Passion Ford Scene in Southend. There were a few guys and girls from PF who i interviewed, but we were not happy with the footage, so that's why we didn't use it, no other reason...and certainly no diss to any of da crew
What we do at streetlife tv is for the 'scene', and if there's anyone who believe's that the feature we shot for PF, spent TWO nights and numerous hours putting together, is anything else...well again...that's your oppinion.
Since it's launch in May last year, we have a had GREAT responce from many Ford fans and clubs, so your reply comes as a shock
anyway, we are just trying to give everyone a platform to educate the general public about the UK streetcar and modified scene...so cut us some slack jack thx guys, great site...we'll be at Southend Wednesday...

The Pf meets are always on the first Wednesday of the month. Being a first issue there are bound to be lesons learnt. And the nature of the game means you won't please everybody.

thx Oranoco.. ...we're here as a new 'platform' to promote the scene on film, rather than the magazines, which are saturated with adds and stuff. We planned to do a FEATURE on PF...and as far as I'm concerned, along with the tonns of happy viewers who bought Issue 1, it came out pretty good
We aren't in it to steel anyones thunder, so there's no 'poaching' going on...we just want to give everyone in the scene an equal opportunity to get their club and cars (not so much their faces) seen on SLTV....
Cheers again

ok so yeah, you do get people bombing up and down (myself included) so that was true, but the majority of people there park up and you go and "look" at the cars
personally when I saw the dvd I was well pi$$ed off (so were quite a few of the organisers) cos it gave the impression that all the members drive like twats. And as for the guy they asked how many meets there had been and his response was about 6 ... well wtf does he know .... it was actually the 1st (i know its just a tiny mistake, but it still got peoples backs up)
like you say everyone is entitled to their opinion and thats mine and a few others to be honest.
One more thing, like it was said to you at donny south last year Jerry, it is being classed as max power on dvd with all the sluts you have on it fingering themselves in the front of a saxo or whatever it was, but i suppose the bigger market in car world is male and at the end of the day your gona go for that to make money, which i dont blame you for. Its a shame really cos i know how much you guys do put in and your enthusiasm shows, but hey, max power has been round for years so you obviously are going in the right direction
saying that, has the next issue got the same amount of girl action?? if not then i'd buy it

ok, chip-3door, jerry aint a chav lol he just has a cockney accent
and i agree with that feedback on issue 1 racey, the girl in the saxo went on for too long and was frankly boring. this issue doesnt have that, it has one section of girls and that is the fuel booty contest, and thats just in there so there is something for everyone, but as its a dvd you dont have to watch that bit! as for the representation on the PF meet, when we do a feature on PF at some stage, we will make sure to get the social site of things more than the action side of things, but that said when someone is watching a dvd they will want something that will keep them watching, such as burnouts etc etc because although walking round a meet is a good atmosphere when you are there, its an atmosphere that is very difficult to capture on film.
Thanks for all of your comments and please keep them coming!

Just had a quick look round the site and, unfortunately, it looks like a combination of Max Power, Revs and Fast Car but online.
I'm sure you have a cult following and will move on from strength to strength.
Not a critisim, just my observation.

fast car are a good bunch of blokes but we want to focus more on cars than on girls, unlike max power, who, unfortunatly have turned into a soft porn magazine, which is a shame because at one point they did have nice cars in there!
personally i dont read max power atall anymore, i sometimes read fast car and maybe redlines, but mainly just read fast ford as they do actually talk about cars

I think the nub of the problem here could partly be the age of people on PF. Most of us are older enthusiasts where as Max Power, Revs etc seem to be aimed at the younger drivers.
As an ex Max Power reader I think I lost interest in it as I grew up and saw the "Max" scene as being full of chavish little wankers. I actually take offense when people not in the know at work assume I read that drivel. If Max became about the cars again like it was at the begining it could be a good mag again. Saddly it seems to be the chav bible now

Not saying these guys got it right as I was dissappointed with the tits and minge content of the first issue, but they are acknowledging they have areas to improve. They are on here asking for feedback so they can get their product right. Least we can do is try to be constructive. We have a very good base of knowledgable enthusiasts here and we all have an oppertunity to tell them what WE want from a product like this. We might not get everything as it's impossible to please everybody but at least we can get something.

thanks oranoco, is there anything you would want to see on a dvd such as streetlifetv? or is there anything anyone would wants to see, we need your help to make it better for you, we could make up the dvd of just things that we like, but there would be no purpose to it, we need feedback, not just people saying "its rubbish" or "i dont like it" tell us what you dont like! and what cam be tweaked/improved

Just a thought mate but I would love to see some action from track days. What about getting a long to some track days and getting your cameras into some peoples cars That would make some spectacular viewing. The RSOC organised a day at Bedford Autodrome and some of the cars there were being driven very hard and would have looked very cool on film.
From my personal point of view I'm not interested in looking at scantily clad women sitting on a Saxo's bonnet. I'm virtually married so if I want tits and minge I go to the bedroom and get some
