steves bill was small
his turbo upgrade/ check over was free by turbo technics proper service that
new anti surge comp housing modified wastegate arm and new spec billet compressor wheel
even Steve didn't moan at that lol

for a lively very torquey road engine all you need (on top of a good engine)is a well mapped gt3071.82 with a good inlet cam etc and it will piss over all the other turbos mentioned for spool and out right power

Yes we ran 2.9 bar peak on mapping but not on the rollers. Not sure what your constant jibes about boost are about, but dont be scared mate. Turn the wick up a bit. That's what the turbo is there for after all.

2.9 bar is quite a bit of boost for a production off the shelf 2 bar max turbo with a cast comp wheel
boost levels that high can be counter productive
I bet the turbo doth protest some what

Nope it didnt protest at all. And no damage or play in the shaft () when i took it off and sold it to Beefy. It was only for a couple of runs anyway.

Im sure the turbo is capable of running 2 bar+ without a worry as it has done for a few k miles with no bother. not saying 2.9 bar is correct of course but mighty fast

Ive ran 2.6 bar on a gt30 for over 2 years now with no probs at all! Boost is good makes you go fast!

the noise must be immense rod
my t51r is afaik similar to a gt42 and the noise at 2.1 bar is insane
