no, as said it was one of the best going, was the homepage etc, i thought it was brilliant but it was ruled with an iron fist and mini hitlers
passionford is much much better to be, much more open and a lot more friendly, i was one of the many people that were constantly in trouble on pf.... (not as much as some.... ima, steve ) and i can come on here, say what a i like and read some brilliant stuff

I was only on there for the last year or so before the site went down. At the time it was a good forum to be on if you were into RS'. It definately lives in the shadow of Passionford now.

I used to find passionford full of young/disrespectful/swearing folks who were more intent on increasing post count by posting nothing but smilies than anything else, and at that time, I wasn't really taken by it, so stuck to the RSOCbb which was more, how can you say, "mature"
This is not being negative, just my thoughts at the time. But since about this time last year, I have not been able to get out of here
Maybe I am becoming younger, more disrepectful and swear more as the days go by though
PF rocks, not been on RSOC bb for a while now.

helpful: yes, thanks to the RSOCBB and big nige i found SCC and got my cossie sorted, (back in the days when nige had his flint grey saff
i met some nice peeps, and remember the southend meets etc
but it was a bit elitist (spel) peeps without RS' and newbies were overlooked, and it was modded pretty heavily

RSBB was good for a while, then went SERIOUSLY downhill towards the end (didnt help that the runners/owners were geeky dicks), but not a patch on this place even at its best times.
Infact this is the best forum i know of regardless of car type or whatever.
Best tech knowlege, best people, best everything really

The rsbb did used to be very good a few years back! It was a very friendly place and not too badly moderated. It seemed to start going downhill around the time Gizmo became chairman of the rsoc imo which of course may be just a coincidence

PassionFord Post Troll
The RSOC BB seems to have died. Have much more "fun" on here, more relaxed attitude from mods etc. Very slow movement of topics replies etc over there.
I was even asked to remove my highly offensive avatar, anyone bothered by it on here??
Bit too stuffy for it's own good IMO.
