I've got an e60 530d and had an M3 just over a year ago, for me going back to an e46, I couldn't do it. As a daily drive the e60 is great and remapped is probably just as fast once on the move.
I also think the e46 shape is starting to look dated.

I used myne daily, there was nothing really wrong with it as such, but where the engine is so revvy it made me drive the nuts off it everywhere, tbh I don't know how I ever kept a clean licence with that car!

Good on you for keeping the OE rims! CSL rims belong on CSL's.
Car looks very nice.
Don't forget to get the rear floor done before it hits ten years old.

Can't see unless you just really wanted an RS why you wouldn't, if you could, have one of these. Wicked motor!

The M3's seem cheap on the insurance for some reason! I pay Ł150 more a year for the 530 over the m3

nice one!
nothign wrong with an M3 as a daily drive IMHO the only thing that might put people off is the practicality as some of us need 4 doors and big boots

Nice one Tiff.
My M3 is my daily. Absolutely no reason why they shouldn't be.
