Hi,

So today I got a second chance to dyno my car. This time the cooling setup had changed and they put a very powerfull twin-blower setup right in front of my intercooler. Behind that there was that massive 1.5mx1.5m blower running.

Like advised over here I told them to shut down the hood so there would be more of a natural airflow under the hood. They carefully looked at my temperature gauge to monitor if charge temperatures didn't pass the 40 degrees Celsius so the ECU would cut in for its safety strategy. The run on high boost gave a result of 383,4PS and a massive torque of 634,3 Nm!! At low boost (1.2 Bar) the result was 305,6PS and 434,1Nm.
And the AFR were low 11's all the way to the limiter.

I have to say that they had to let the car cool down between the runs as the temperatures of the intercooler rised very quickly. Underbonnet temperatures are very high too. For me a good indication to see I really need a bigger intercooler like also advised.
But now it has been proven that the results of last week where due to high ACT.

Thank you all for the good advices, it was very learnfull and I am a very happy man now!

Nice Wim, that high boost torque is very impressive

What spike boost do you run on high?

Looks like they didn't spend much time matching the roller speed with the engine rpm, and just took what the pick-up was saying as gospel, as the rpm peaks don't seem correct.....

Agreed, although that wont change the power output figure of course, merely the torque, and obviously the rpm points that both are at.

Ie it would still be 380bhp with a different roller sync value.

So I suppose the max torque should have been at a higher rpm? Does that mean the torque value would be lower than the value that was measured?
