As you may or may not know I work in car sales. I'm sure most people in sales are just as guilty as me at prejudging people but this ones a corker.

This afternoon i seen a red escos floating about the garge area. Hours later i head home from work driving a 120,000 mile old done in civic that i've to deliver to a trader on route home.

As i leave and join a short section of road leading to a roundabout i spy the red cossie coming up and i slow down to have a nosey.

We get to the junction at the roundabout and i'm having a good look as its a clean, slightly modded example on a J plate.

Just as i'm doing that the couple of about 40years old in it give me that look of "You'll never have one of these son" or "keep dreaming" In general they gave me the feeling they thought i was a young boy racer dreamer.

I so wanted to roll down the window and inform them not only is mine newer and running on Rondells...its a damn sight better than there example.

It was bloody killing me with frustration, think i'll need to get a "my other cars a escos" decal

 

I need one of them stickers for my everyday mondeo!!!

There is a few cossies in EK, or there was a couple of years ago

 

Think there short on the ground now. White EsCos with rondells got impounded by police then sold and Saph from Sprint tyres got sold for an audi quattro.

Seen a white saph the other nite, standard looking in the village and a modded one floats about lyndsayfield.

i had a few RSTs aswell.

 

What happend to the white one ?

He used to be a customer of ours a few years back , was a lovely car

 

Ronnie sold it and the purchaser used it in a robbery the night he took delivery. car got impounded and almost crushed as claiming the car linked the buyer to the crime.

You'll see it at knockhill etc with dp plates on it now think its dp and 3 numbers. A company dp motorsport (i thnik) now own the car.

DP motorsport have it now ? Really ? Im not form EK im from Alloway just basically Ayr, and DP Motorsport are in Ayr, and i know the lad, mind you havent spoke to him for a while , thought he had a new R34 Skyline.

Cool, was tempted with the 3dr but always wanted EsCos so got it. Posters on the wall from a young age and all that Still got a longing for a 3dr though...one day

Its defo DP something and it is a tuning/acessories company so your prob right.

yeah i know mark. I bought his old white track sierra off him years ago. i used to run a modded ka with headlight conversion plastered in xs decals.

I'm up in stewartfield. Your cousin prob woun't no the car as its well locked up when not in use. rarely seen. Half my mates think i don't have one.

I know stewartfield, nice area up there bud. He probably hasnt seen it as he would have mentioned it to me or asked if i knew the owner, cous has a 500+bhp RS500. He used to own a red escort cossie as well

I fancy a escort soon i had a white one for 6 months but decided i wanted out of cars like that and sold it for some crazy reason, needless to say a few months later i sold my BMW and got back into them
