Default Mk1 escort cossie conversion

my brother has got a very tidy mk1 escort mex in olympic blue, its currently running a 2.1 pinto with a single carb and lumpy cam.
We are looking at cossying it, whats involved in the conversion??
so far the things we recon needed are:
1) new tunnel for the gearbox (T5)
2) we assume the engine will sit on the original mounts, with a modded 2wd sump to clear the cross-member as effectivly its the same block?
3) engine loom will need splicing in
4) whats the options for the prop/diff and shafts??
5) can the intercooler and rad fit in without too much hacking the front about, or is a boot rad norwegian style the best bet?

any info/pics/tips greatfully recived
finally, what is the final cost likely to be, as we will do all the work ourselfs , we recon between 2.5-3.5k
