St220 for Focus Rs Mk1 opinions please
Gang
After all the great opinions on trading the st220 for an escort rs I've decided to leave the escort alone but have turned my sights to a Focus Rs mark 1
1. Is this suitable for a daily car?
2. Will a 6.5k budget get me a good one?
3. Is high mileage any issue 100k plus?
All opinions very much appreciated!

6.5k won't get you a 'good' one imo but as above really....as long as it's not too heavily modded a 100k car engine wise should be fine as long as it's had regular oil changes and been well maintained, as far as performance fords go they're pretty reliable !
When i bought mine i wanted something for the weekends/shows etc so got what i would consider to be a a really nice example but if it's just primarily going to be a daily drive and you're not too fussed on it being a real minter then i'm sure if you look hard you'll be able to find something to fit the bill at the slightly lower end of the frs budget

I think it was Rs mat on here who said he'd had a high miler and a low miler and the difference was night and day?
If your after a quick family turboed motor why not a mint focus St 5dr?
Be a lot cheaper too.

I really want a Ford Rs having been a Ford man all my life.
I've discounted the escort rs after some great feedback on here.
The Mondeo St220 is a great car but something smaller with that RS badge is nagging away at me.
