Default cosworth rebuild question..

currently rebuilding my cosworth, looking to get 450bhp and was wondering if i am on the right tracks. Also thinking of getting siemans black 83lbs injectors, do i need to get the siemans chip to match?

current build status:

200block 6 studd mountune kit
wrc multi layer head gasket
ported head inlet 25mm, standard exhaust side.
standard crank
mains studded
wrossner pocketed pistons with uprated rods
piston calling jets
wasted spark
double valve springs
bd14 inlet bd10 exhaust
turbo technics stage 3 turbo,
7° cutback T3 turbine assembly
360° screwed thrust bearing.
do i need to get a billet manifold?
would this be able to achieve 450bhp? any help will be great.

Change cams for a BD15 inlet and standard exhaust cam

What turbo is it ????

What inlet are you using ?

Small Turbo Escos or a Hart would be good.

Why BD15? Total waste if he already has BD14. The cams are more than good enough. Need specs on the turbo.

you are giving away a lot of driveability if you change your ab07s for a peak power cam like bd15. bd14 is a better cam profile for this power range. it has the same characteristcs as the ab07 but with a better top end. need piston mods as it has more lift and duration, but thats why the ab07s where designed. i would NOT recommend going bd15 as you have a limited turbo.

the turbo spec is turbo tecnics stg 3 turbo with Boost 15-30 PSI
7° cutback T3 turbine assembly
360° screwed thrust bearing.
hope this helps.
so bd14 inlet with standard exhaust is good?
do i need to get a billet plenum?
and do i need to get siemans blacks 83lb with matching chip?
thanks

my tt stg 2 t3 will max out at 380-400, 30 psi, so your defo gonna need a t3 stg3 (t38) to get anywhere near 450 at 36 -38 psi

A sierra 2wd tt stage 3 turbo is indeed a t35 with a 55 housing.

Or thats what it says in their online catalogue.

I,ve been in contact with TT about the same turbo unit, before emailing them and from reading about stg 3 TT T3,s on here i thought it was the max they do for the intitial T3. They have stated though that its based on a T35 unit. When they say 'based on' do they mean internally larger or are they a huge turbo externally too? ? Or am i confused and a T35 has always been a hybrid of the T3 .

Not sure mate.

Ive got a receipt from late 2010 so doubt the info has changed, for a sierra 2wd stage 3 tt turbo. When i looked on their catalogue it says that turbo is a t35.55

Not sure if this helps but hey ho.

Unfortunately you won't get 450 from a stage 3 t3 turbo, probably about 360. I thought it was a t3 with a cut back exhaust turbine and a t35 compressor wheel in a t3 housing, with 360 deg thrusts, well that's how it was explained to me when I enquired before I settled on a stage 2 one as that suits my needs better,
