Hi, im putting the head on my engine today. Its a forged 2 litre zetec, going to run around 300bhp, mabeey 400bhp when i upgrade the turbo next year.

Do i tighten the head to what ford say to do with a standard engine? And yes i have new bolts.

Yes just use standard torque settings

i know ian howell very well and he uses standard ford torque figures but does the second to 105 degrees instead of 90 degrees , good for 500+bhp on standard head bolts with 30psi running through it

standard or as ian has done, i have run 20psi through mine and no issues apart from clutch slip.
