Even if 10,000 people sent them an email they wouldn't put his car on the telly. They get requests all the time from people with 'fast' cars wanting to take on the circuit. But it's not what the programme's about. It would be fun to see what it would do, but no amount of badgering them will make it so.

As some of the posts might suggest 5th gear could be the answer, the very first episode of 5th gear had a sunny GTI-R racing a dodge viper, so maybe, just maybe.

They were planning on doing a feature on "high powered 4wd vehicles" (make of that what you will) a couple of years ago, but it fell by the wayside. Besides, it's a bit of comedy nowadays with some hooning mixed in.

Edit to add: The track isn't owned by Top Gear and you can hire it out privately

I love the idea of Charlie's car on it, but I think I'd rather see Jeremy Clarkson try to get his street cred back by challenging Martin Hadland and the Mondeo again

Tell you the truth, its shit now, I find mtself watching it out of habbit, rather than cause its a good show, although the saab feature was ok (does that mean in order to get a decent feature out of top gear a car manufacturer or a famous racing driver has to die?)
