Does make you think, these kind of people really dont give a shit . Driving up a motorway in daylight with 2 stolen cars ![Wall](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/wall.gif)
This was nearly 2 days ago now so they could be anywhere . were either of the cars up for sale or is it a case of inside info as to where they are parked up overnight etc . Bit worrying owning a RS these days .

I may be able to explain this.
I sold my S1 and it was picked up on 23rd with a single car transporter with a trailer on the back. My S1 was picked up from Scotland and he was then going to Chester to pick up a Moonstone RS500. So the S1 would have been on the single car transporter and the RS500 on a trailer being towed by the transporter.
They were then being taken to Kent for the new owner. I think this may have been what you have seen on the 23rd as the timing would be about right.
Regards Gary Jones.

not who just bought this..............smilie face![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
hope that didnt come out wrong, theft has made us all jump to conclusions, which is good for keeping a look out, but bad from point of view of genuinely interested enthusiasts taking their new pieces of love home

TBH i would have thought that if someone was transporting 2 stolen cars in broad daylight they would at least try to cover them up so that it's not so obvious what cars they are so i should imagine it is the totally innocent option suggested by BRAMMER and gary jones rather than the stolen one.

Finally got round to signing up!
Wanna put your minds at rest. I own the RS500 Moonstone and S1 spotted on enroute from the North to South.
Part of a small collection I have recently bought a few weeks back
Feel free to discuss

Congratulations on joining the Moonstone 500 gang
we are a small but happy bunch ![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
I looked over your car about 2 years ago when it was still with the first owner. Cheshire classics bought it about a month or so later. If you would like any background info on it then drop me a pm.

Guys. Just a quick post to put your minds at rest. I run a company called CHT ( www.cht.me.uk ) and transport cars throughout the UK. I was the guy seen on the M54 coming out of Shrewsbury with the 2 RS vehicles on my truck & trailer. They were definitely not stolen, but being moved to their new home for a client. Being a car enthusiast myself and a member of The XR Owners club and an XR Owner, I feel it's a good sign that these type of vehicles are noted when moved or seen in public. This can be a good weapon in the never ending, and ever increasing, war with the thieves! Regards, LM of CHT.
PS - they didn't 'arf get some admiring glances en route! LOL.
