hi all.
a mate of mine has a mk4 xr3i which refuses to start. he said the fuel pump was little noisy so he always knew when it was pumping.
he said that he hears the pump prime when the ignition is first switched on but can't hear the pump running when cranking. is it likely to be the pump or relay? if it is the relay is it the same as the purple one on an rs turbo? thanks, neil

 

see where is not getting power then trace it back untill you find power, easy
