Default Zetec turbo oil

done a search but didn't come up with anything. I have been doing my rounds and reading up on a few things in opie oils site i quite fancy the 0w40 or 5w40. I wanted to go these grades because of good cold start oil flow and still a decent grade when hot.

What grade do you use?

Mobil 1 0W-40 is a strong oil. Had it in the BOA V6, YB Cossie, DOHC etc. For daily use (and winter) very good oil and stable for fast road use. I hadn't much oil consumption.

But now I use M1 5W-50 for my daily drivers and the turbo engines. Also a good oil and it is a bit stronger.

The most important thing is to use a full synthetic oil, not a crappy mineral oil and your engine will be fine.

If you can use a poly ol ester based oil for turbo's as they don't crack so easily have a high film strength and cling like the castrol add goes on about. red line is one of these so you could try their 5w40 or even there 10w60, or a mix of them!
