I have a FRST running escort cosworth wheels with escos front brakes too, and my question is will normal 15" FWD escort gti/rs2000 alloys be ok and clear the caliper etc as I dont have any here to try, as it saves me buying a set and find out if they work or not, as I know with OE calipers it would work but its with escos ones thats got me curious

15's do fit around the cossie brakes its just the offset that i'm unsure about, but that can be adjsted with spacers. I had the same brakes on mine years ago with mk5 rs2000 wheels but had to use spacers as the they caught on the caliper when new pads were fitted.

I have A FRST and use sierra cosworth 4x4 brakes I am using 15" team dynamics pro race alloys, they are either an 35 or 40 off set ( I can find out but it will take time!) these work fine there is a little scraping on full lock but other than that work fine.

Should work fine. Clearance may be tight. I ran ST150 brakes under 15" TSW Stealths and they were tight.

One thing's for certain, it'll drive a thousand times better off the Cossie rims

I would have thought it would be ok. I had a MK2 Orion years ago with 4x4 Cossie brakes and had no issues with S2 RST rims or Wolfrace Voodoos.

nice one chaps, just trying to avoid using spacers or shaving caliper as the 15s will only be temp until the 16s are refurbed

I think you'd be fine with GTI wheels mate. They seem to be ok for clearance.

I had a set of 15" rs2000 wheels on my fezz, then i upgraded my brakes to cossie 4x4 set up and they would not go on unless ,what looked like a heafty spacer was needed its because the spokes roll in when they join the rim quickly.

The pads where brand new as well

16" mondy wheels with a 4mm spacer is now spot on

RS2000 wheels are shite for brake clearance. They will go over 280mm brakes, but you need spacers.

GTI wheels don't have those problems, as the spokes go to the edge of the rim, rather than having a dish.
