This has been spaced 30mm and runs 235.40.17 tyres, on my own car I only spaced them 10mm so it still looked standard

Anti roll bar plays a big part too.
On the H13 (standard 3dr bar) I had no issues but on the H14 (2wd saff bar) I had to trim the bumper and splitter, mind I did put 10mm wheel spacers on to widen the front track too.
Thats with 215.40.17's

Have just bought 8" front and 9" rears, looks like i'd better get some more tyres before pulling the wings out!!

What tyre sizes would you recomend for 8X16 fronts and 9x16 rears, preferably R888 Toyos?
Cheers guys!

Hi Steve. I spaced the front wing like the picture above. Then Dave made them arches for me for a quick fix. That was to run 235/40/17's. On 9x17's some standard arches might work just cut right back

i got8x17 et33 with 235/35 r17 (almost, it's 235/ and a outside diameter of 610mm) at the front, and took some major cutting out the wings (about an inch) and removed the inside edge of the plastic arches (also the mouning points) so i bonded them on.
Want to space out the arches at the front, but noticed that while widening at the front, it would deform a bit and pull the top actually inwards. (due loosing strength when i cut the inch away) i'll see if ihave some pics.
Before cutting, and camber not yet adjusted

Steve
I run 225/45R16 with ET30 on the racecar and have had to trim flange off the bodykit, roll the arch flange, trim some of the arch nearest the rear wheel and also trim back some of the bumper flange. You can gain more clearance running eccentric top mounts and if you don't then you need to be careful if you use adjustable lower arms because you can widen the track to gain camber and start to rub. As mentioned the castor setting can influence too. Best thing you can do is mount your damper without the spring and articulate the wheel to check where you will have issues. Cheers

Steve have you got a standard style front ARB? as i have one mine and i get more scrubbing on the right than the left and odd coil over height settings, so when speaking to Mr linfoot he explained the reasons why on a 3dr - it being down to the ARB being out of line something to do with cornering so just something to check as it may give you a couple of mm if it is out (if you know already or run comp strut's ignore me lol)
