Make sure beforehand that you have the right bolts with the right size washers! Sapph ones should have the later larger washers, but very early heads may have the 3-dr style small washers (the later bolts with large washers won't fit)
Lee, if this is the head from your car originally, I fancy it may need smaller washers... ?

Just trying to pre-empt a bit of unexpected grief to make sure it doesn't get in the way!!

Damn, completely forgot about the two different head bolt size

My head is small washer type.

I really hope Nat has the right type of headbolts

I've just pm'ed her.

I'll take my small washer bolts to work tomorrow so if she needs them I'll special delivery them lunchtime

And I'll take her large washer bolts as Alex needs a set.

Either way everyone should be happy then

Got head alright thanks !!

..........and have asked my MAN...

He says he is almost sure the headbolts we have are large ones... so might have to send them to you!!
