2.1 US quarts or UK 2 ltrs

and from my research and own experiance ONLY use the ford oil, way better than all the other shit on the market!

EDIT: thats in a 2l mk1 focus, other models/years may be different

First time i changed my oil (18 months ago) i used some stuff from eurocarparts that was the right honey colour (stuff that came out was red, obviously the garage that did the clutch for the previous owner didn't have a clue) and worked great till this winter when it became almost impossible to engage 2nd though was great when warm. After shit loads of research mainly on american sites i came accross loads of people who had tried 4 or 5 different producs with and without lsd's and all came to the same conclusion tha the ford stuff is the best so i changed to that a few weeks ago and it gets better and better every time i use it. now its brilliant even when cold so i wouldn't use anything else. buy the ford stuff once and your buying the right stuff and not having to fork out twice!

hope it will work ok with the syncros or you'll fuck them right up. the US boys were getting best results with ford oil and a tiny bit of friction modifier for the diff though i'm not sure what diffs they were running.

good luck with it.

nevsrevs, that says its for non-syncromesh gear boxes so can't see that being any good in any modern gear box!

Phil the the red stuff your said came out of your box is the right stuff cos I think in the mtx75 they run something more like a auto trans fluid and yes the ford mt-mtx75 fluid is best.

no the red stuff is definately wrong, the ford stuff is a honey colour like engine oil and the red stuff was crap compared to the ford thats in now!

i know thats what it says mate, but this is the correct oil for our diff, i would rather look after 1000 squids worth of diff, then 10 a penny synchro, any how it took 2.2 ltrs.
