This weeks Autocar Fast ford special
Quite a nice little feature of some Fast Fords from Xr2 to GT40
They were VERY VERY complimentary about the Mk1 Focus RS
I really like these!
Worth buying and having a read

It's because you get 75% of the mk2s thrills for a quarter of the price
Great cars I will always recomend a mk1 aslong as it's looked after
But I still brought a mk2 lol
Going to buy the mag tomorrow

I've never known a (relatively) high volume model of car vary so much from car to car.

Thats an understatement tbh! They are frickin brilliant for fwd. I took mine round croft and it was fantastic. With good rubber and 280 bhp it would make a mess of even the 4x4 jap cars.

Surprised at that bud. You've had plenty cars to get a feel for what is good etc. I really liked mine. Of course it wasnt a patch on my 380 bhp evo but in some ways I preferred it!

Good issue, seems Matt Prior is a Ford fan... I would love either a Mk1 FRS or ST as a daily runner...

By all accounts the new Sweeney, starring Ray Winston, had 6 pre production Focus ST's too film with. Nice to see the producers are keeping with the Blue oval
