Hey guys, just wondering whether anyone on here has access to bid on cat b stuff on copart? And would you be willing to bid on my behalf? Would be willing to pay for the hassle. Please let me know!

As said above cat b's are hard work but no where near as hard as buying from 'proper' companies like bluecycle, copart have a duty by law to regulate the sales and disposal of cat b's but dont bother, your best bet is to get a polish email address and register as a over seas buyer (joke to anyone that is a cat b buyer on there), plus the cat b's on there are far from cheap, you can usually buy cat c's for round about the same money.
I have bought cat b's for people i know in the past on the basis of a few quid and the shell remains in the yard at all times and is correctly processed but its hassle and dont tend to do it much now mainly because of the costs involved (i.e only recovery trucks with a waste carriers licence can collect and transport the motors, VAT, processing the breaker and ELV etc0
crosy2004 if you are interested in buying repairers copart isnt bad in the sense they have hundreds of cars on there, they have the monolopy on the salvage trade these days, its not that hard to sign up on but bewary of the costs involved, they have recently put their buyers fee's up which some of them are a joke and they add a few other fee's on plus you have to pay for recovery for the motors which can sometimes really bump the costs up, do some research into it first, and there are already quite a few people buyer stuff from copart and putting it stright onto ebay (a few use the pictures from copart as well, stupid imo selling something that you havent got in hand).
Plus a LOT of the cars are more then meets the eye ive been in the trade for 14 years so know what to look out for and know what impact damages what, its not a easy thing to make money from now i have seen a few cars recently selling for more money as salvage then they do stright.
