Default Plastic scuff repairs??

Came out to my VW Golf a couple of days ago to discover some pleb who can't drive has decided to give my rear bumper a nudge and leave a small scuff on it I agree it is only fairly minor, but you'd be surprised how much it stands out with the scuff appearing a lighter grey than the rest of the bumper now! Anyway, one way or another I'd like it sorting so can anybody recommend me anyone/anywhere that deals with this kind of thing preferably in or around Harrogate/Leeds/York?? Is it something that your everyday bodyshop could sort out or is it more of a specialist that I need with it being a plastic scuff??

Silver is a bastard when it comes to scuffs, sticks out like a sore thumb!
The surface isn't smooth either by the looks of it, so not sure about that, on my fiesta I just took a fairly fine abrasive paper and rubbed it back. But the plastic was smooth anyway.

They could both be easily repaired by a s.m.a.r.t repairer, even the grey bit and they can recreate the texture too. I was a s.m.a.r.t repairer for 12 years but don't do it anymore.

You can buy a new lower skirt from VW for around Ł30 I believe. Bumper comes off nice and simply after removing rear lights, unclip the old one, clip on the new one (use silicone spray to help it clip together) and refit the bumper.

That was a brand new lower skirt mate.....about 3 weeks ago With it being a GTI one they're slightly more expensive aswell unfortunately so I think it's gonna be cheaper to get mine repaired as opposed to getting ANOTHER new one!
